Declaration of Conformity of The Offered Items
Against The Required Specifications
S/N	Specifications of product required
1.	The whole system shall be complete and consisted with the metallic rails of (W) shape, secured on steel posts that are placed on the ground. The guardrail system according to the end-use, may singe or double faced. The use of spacers or other accessories shall be declared by the manufacturer of the approved system.
2.	The whole guardrail system shall be of level N2 according to the requirements of EN 1317-1, EN1317-2 and EN1317-5, for the testing TB 11 and TB 32. The crucial impact severity shall be of category Α (ASI < 1.0) and the working width W4 (W ≤ 1.3 m) maximum. The requirements and verification procedures of compliance are specified in EN1317:5+A1:2008.
3.	During installation the exposed over the ground till the top part of the guardrail should be 0.75m +/-0.02m high. The installation depth shall not exceed the 1m.
4.	Construction materials of the guardrail system All the metallic parts, such as the sheets, steel posts, spacers, bolts, nuts etc., should comply to the following standards: Gross section of constructional steel: ΕΝ 10025. Steel sheets of 30 mm: EN 10025. Steel sheets of 30 mm: EN 10025. Bolts & Nuts: EN 20898-1, EN 3740.
5.	Construction parts of the guardrail system Steel post having a gross section as it is declared from the manufacturer of the approved guardrail system. Spacers: The gross section and rest details shall be declared from the manufacturer of the approved guardrail system. Corrugated steel sheet: The corrugated steel sheet shall be manufactured in typical pieces made of steel sheet that is made without any recycle materials. Accessories for the parts assembling: That includes the bolts, nuts required for the assembling of the system.
6.	We provide the following documents with the quotation: The manufacturer should provide the EC Certificate of Conformity issued from an Independent Organization as this required in Appendix ZA of EN 1317:5+A1:2008. A Declaration of Conformity as this is described in Appendix ZA of the same Standard (EN1317:5+A1:2008).
7.	Guard Beam, Steel Posts & Bolts The material of the guard steel beams should satisfy the requirements of AASHTO M180 Type I Class A, except the steel post that shall comply with the requirements off AASHTO M270 standards. The galvanization of the steel guard beams and the steel post shall be performed as per ASTM A123 for the connection materials and the finished galvanized surface should satisfy the requirements of paragraph 9 of AASHTO M180 standards. The Zinc quality should be as per requirements of Paragraph 6 of AASHTO M180 standards. The bolts shall satisfy the requirements of AASHTO 180
